Monsoon starts at the end of June and last till the month of September. This is the time of the year where the valley is adorned with refreshing greenery, meadows are magnificently adorned by the freshly blossoming flowers, waters from the hills slowly cascade to join the tributary of the river and more of all the sweet chirping of the birds and the songs of the nature fill the air. Monsoon is the season for trekking in the Manali though it is not ideal for holidays and tours.
After the Monsoon bids good bye, winter finally engulf the hill station Manali. During the winter time it is biting cold and snow fall is the common phenomenon. But one good thing about the winter in Manali is, the snow fall make the Manali tour more enjoyable and delightful. Snow fall is very common and during the winter time valleys of Manali gets thickly covered by the snow making it ideal for various winter sports among which Skiing is very common. So it is advisable to the tourists visiting Manali during winter time to carry warm woollen cloths to cope with the extreme weather condition of Manali winter.
